Ideal for small businesses, or those shopping on a budget, the Spaceman 6220 is an economy soft-serve machine capable of producing a single flavor of soft-serve ice cream. This counter-top model is low capacity and will work well for smaller restaurants, bars, or delis, as well as those places with a space restriction. Simple in design, the Spaceman 6220 features a 110Vac electrical connection and produces up to 18 quarts per hour, or roughly 144 small cones every hour. In addition, this model also comes standard with a digital control board with digital temperature display, low mix indicator, and stand-by mode to help the operator change flavors, adjust servings, or modify settings with ease. The model 6220 can be used to produce a variety of products including soft serve ice cream, frozen yogurt, custards, and sorbets. It is approved for dairy and non-dairy products.
The Spaceman 6220 countertop soft serve ice cream machine is cETLus listed for electrical safety in US and Canada, and is ETL sanitation listed for commercial food service applications.
Notes: The unit is a gravity feed machine it does not have a pump. The product will flow from the refrigerated product holding hopper down into the freezing cylinder by gravity and typically has a lower product overrun yield than a machine with a pump. Also, this machine has a "low mix" indicator but does not have a hopper mixing agitator and requires the product to be manually stirred in the hopper every 30-60 in order to keep the product evenly cooled for food safety and to prevent ice buildup around the hopper walls.
